For everyone. CrossFit CenTex is a strength and conditioning facility focused on the development of individuals through the effective use of functional movements. Our goal is to help our clients (athletes) to become stronger, leaner, faster, more coordinated, and ultimately healthier. We do so by combining gymnastics (body control movements) weightlifting (controlling external objects) cardiovascular training in as many variations as possible. With the use of functional movements, CrossFit can be scaled and adapted to anyone, regardless of fitness level or athletic background.
Results driven. CrossFit CenTex prides itself on proving our effectiveness. We encourage our athletes to challenge themselves by attempting athletic endeavors thought to be out of reach. Our workouts specifically develop mental and physical growth. We expect nothing less than effort from our athletes. Over time effort becomes results. Body composition changes, strength increases, weight loss, cardio-respritory capacity gains, are all evidence of CrossFit’s effectiveness.
A community. CrossFit CenTex is first and foremost a community of friends. We train together, we cheer, encourage, support and push each other. Success is celebrated by all of us. We know firsthand the power of a community, the energy of genuine friendship, the bond forged when we push ourselves to find the limits of our abilities. Here at CrossFit CenTex, we encourage our athletes to compete. Compete in CrossFit events, road races, triathlons, and any other physical event that causes the competitive blood to flow. We are a community lead by coaches who know what it means to compete. From college athletics, the CrossFit Games, and even the Olympics. Our coaches push their collective limits in order to apply the knowledge gained to your success and the success of our community.
Experienced coaches. CrossFit CenTex coaches are required to posses the skills and knowledge necessary to help you achieve your goals. Our coaches are required to complete an internship prior to assisting in our classes. All coaches are required to have a minimum CrossFit Level 1 certification. Continuing education is also a must. Leading to coaches with certifications in CrossFit Football, CrossFit Endurance, CrossFit Nutrition, Movement and Mobility, and USAW weightlifting.
A training facility. CrossFit CenTex has over 2,500 square feet of training space dedicated to our CrossFit classes. With another 800 square feet used for our CrossFit Kids classes and Olympic weightlifting programs. We boast a safe outside “running area” as well as close proximity to athletic fields for training.
